Who We Are
Founder & CEO
Over the past 30+ years of my career as an Occupational Therapist, I have had the opportunity to provide early intervention, school based, and private practice services. I have also had the pleasure of becoming a Cedarsong Way Certified Teacher. My experiences have provided opportunities to explore various approaches to treatment that take the whole child into perspective. These experiences have also led me to the importance of incorporating a natural approach into all aspects of my work, from use of materials and therapeutic tools, to use of the outdoor environment as part of the therapeutic process.
At Willow Tree Occupational Therapy we are excited to be able to help children build motor skills, visual perceptual skills, core strength, sensory modulation skills, and social-emotional skills in a nurturing environment surrounded by natural opportunities for exploration and growth!
Nicole has 14 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist. She has worked in both the Skilled Nursing Facility field and in the School System.
Nicole works with Willow Tree Occupational Therapy to provide contracted school-based OT services to our local school system. In the school setting she works with our K-5 students to perform evaluations, create treatment plans, provide direct intervention, and to consult with educational staff.
Nicole recently begun to provide OT services at the WTOT Farmhouse Clinic as well- so that we can better meet the needs of our community.
Nicole brings along her caring spirit & strong knowledge base to provide quality OT services to the children she works with. The children can also sense the love and kindness Nicole brings to her work & they truly enjoy their time working with her. Nicole is a ray of sunshine in the WTOT family!
We were blessed to have Misti join us this past summer in preparation for the upcoming school year. She serves children in our local elementary and middle schools two days a week.
Misti has worked as a pediatric OT for 9.5 years. She became an OT after beginning to raise her children with special needs and seeing the need to help children reach their maximum potential and love their life to the fullest. She has a passion for working with children and it shows in her work, and in the response the children have while they are with her.
Away from work, Misti enjoys camping and hunting with her family, and traveling with her many children. She is the definition of a super mom. Misti is truly a JOY to have a part of the Willow Tree OT Family!
Hannah is a 2023 graduate of Husson University and our newest Occupational Therapist at the farmhouse!
Hannah has worked with children in a variety of settings-both one on one and in groups/camp offerings. She is kind and creative, having a diverse background full of experiences with handwork and natural play. She has worked with adults with disabilities as part of the Special Olympics Equestrian Program and has a strong interest in the therapeutic benefits of horseback riding, as well as animal-assisted therapy. Prior to graduating, she spent three years working at Willow Tree Occupational Therapy helping to run our Nature Connection Groups and completing administrative duties.
We look forward to the doors she will open to our community in years to come!
