CHICKEN, BEES, & APPLE TREES!
Our WTOT Nature Connection Program: Chickens, Bees, and Apple Trees began in
the fall of 2022, and what a success it has been!
What are we all about?
This outdoor program promotes hands-on exploration and learning in our beautiful fields and forest surrounding the WTOT farmhouse.
Developed by an Occupational Therapist, Chickens, Bees, and Apple Trees is a drop-off outdoor program for all children ages 3 1/2 - 7 years old. Every Tuesday from 9am-1pm, we invite your child to experience nature through play and practical experiences. By building their nature connection, children will work on skills that benefit their body and mind, including social and emotional skills, cooperation and teamwork, all while producing confidence, compassion and community.
Your child will have the opportunity to participate in activities including, but not limited to: simple woodworking; gardening- from seed to harvest to table; foraging, cider pressing; fiber crafts/handwork; farm animal friend visits; and open-ended play opportunities in the fresh outdoor air.
Our Winter session is now open for registration.
It runs from December 5, 2023, until March 19, 2024.

The 2023/24 Winter session begins the week of December 5th and runs through March 19th.

Ages: 3.5 to 7
-
Tuesdays from 9am-1pm
-
Due to dietary/allergy concerns, please send your child with their own snacks, water bottles, and lunch.

Children must be toilet trained
-
Children will spend nearly all of their time outdoors, with the exception of extreme weather, therefore multiple layers of weather-appropriate clothing and spare sets are essential for the rainy and chillier days!

Ratio: 12 students to 3 staff (or 4 to 1)
$55 per week/$715 for the Winter Session

Payment is due in full prior to the start of the seasonal session.

You may pay monthly.

Payment must be received by the first Tuesday of each month if paying monthly.

Payment to Willow Tree OT is accepted through Venmo, personal check, or cash.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:

There is a $100 non-refundable deposit upon registration.

If you choose to cancel mid-semester, you are obligated to pay in full for your child(ren’s) spot in the session.
